Consistently high ratings with 18 new reviews this month. Strong praise for personal service and local expertise.
“Rum 138 was amazing. The owner Doug was so knowledgeable about every spring on the Santa Fe River. The kayak was comfortable and easy to manouver (13ft for 2 person). Doug picked us up promptly to shuttle us back and he was very personable, and gave us a good history of the area. The Sunday funday was indeed a lot of fun, with live music and food. If you need kayak rental/shuttle Doug and Rum 138 is the best!”
— Lucille Phillips“Great trip, super helpful staff who obviously wanted us to have the best possible trip. Spent a ton of time answering any questions and providing their personal knowledge. We did the canoe float from Rum island to the highway. So cool!”
— Andrew Johnson“We took one of their trips on the Santa Fe River during the week. They scheduled a time to meet us at their location, provided online registration and payment, provided the watercraft, paddles and life vests, transported us to the put in, got us in the river and promptly came to pick us up when we finished. First class service. The river was spectacular....loaded with springs, sinks, rises and because it was a weekday during winter, deserted! We took our time and just let the current be our guide. There are even a couple of rapids (class 1, but still rapids!) which made it fun. Highly recommend these folks. Super nice. And if you do go on the weekend, make it a Sunday.....they have live music at the home base!”
— Tortoise on the Trail“Best river trip I’ve ever done! This company is incredibly knowledgeable and they clearly love what they do (they also have great taste in music 😊). The shuttle had just left from the boat ramp when we finished up, but Doug saw us from the bridge and actually turned around and came back and got us! I will never use another shuttle company after our experience with Rum 138 and I highly suggest them if you’re interested in a fun, stress-free river experience!”
